SHADOWS FALL Heeds 'Call Of Duty'

August 14, 2007

According to AOL Music, SHADOWS FALL may shred guitars on stage, but in their off time they love to play video games. "My favorite video game right now is 'Call of Duty 3'," says lead singer Brian Fair. "It is without doubt the sickest first-person shooter game out there. I've spent many hours in the back lounge of our tour bus fighting my way through World War II."

The Springfield, Mass. metal group took their affinity for gaming to the next level by creating an online game called "Road to Redemption". Players are challenged to navigate a SHADOWS FALL tour bus through the Rootman, demonic birds and their management team in order to get to a show. Along the way, CDs, gold records, guitars and hot dogs award extra points.

"It was a fun way to promote our new album that was different from all the normal approaches," Fair explains. "We had someone at our management company that knew how to program it."
